Fridge-e box - The Benefits
The fridge-e product range was designed to provide a viable alternative to EPS (expanded polystyrene foam) and refrigerated vehicles. The design has a number of inherent features:
Flat Pack System
The fridge-e systems are all designed to flat pack resulting in considerable savings in initial transportation and storage.
Re-Use
The fridge-e systems are all durable and easy to clean. This means that where practical, the temperature control packaging can be re-used time and time again.
Recyclable
The main components of the fridge-e systems are cardboard and low density polyethylene foam. Both these materials can easily be recycled.
Energy Efficiency
The fridge-e system converts a simple box into a mobile fridge. Unlike refrigerated vehicles which have to provide cooling energy using relatively inefficient refrigeration systems on the vehicle, the fridge-e system charges itself with cooling energy by utilising more energy efficient commercial freezers prior to transport.
You don't need a refrigerated vehicle
Just as the fridge-e system converts a box into a mobile fridge; it also converts any vehicle into a refrigerated vehicle, at a small fraction of the cost. Refrigerated vehicles are expensive to purchase and expensive to run.
